Enjoying on the water

Châlet Parc De Vechtoever is located on the river Vecht, in the picturesque outskirts of Nederhorst den Berg. The Vecht winds through the marsh and lake regions of Loosdrecht, Kortenhoef, and Ankeveen, which you can explore by boat.

Sail south to discover Loenen, Breukelen, and Utrecht, or head north toward Weesp, Muiden, and the IJmeer with Pampus. Amsterdam is also within reach by (motor) boat, allowing you to cruise directly onto the Amstel River. Along every route, you’ll pass through stunning landscapes, with various harbors providing excellent overnight accommodations.

Enjoying nature

By bike, you can easily reach the Gooi region, known for its beautiful forests, heathlands, and extensive network of cycling paths. The charming painters’ villages of Laren and Blaricum, the historic fortified town of Naarden, and Media City Hilversum are all well worth a visit.

Between Hilversum and Bussum lies Nature Bridge Zanderij Crailoo, the largest wildlife bridge in Europe. This ecological corridor connects the natural areas of the Vecht region, the ‘s-Graveland country estates, and the Spanderswoud to the heathlands of the Gooi and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The estates along the Vecht and ‘s-Graveland are also wonderful places to explore.
