What are the additional costs?

Stay in a rental accommodation

Deposit

– Deposit for the chalet of 1 month’s rent.
– Deposit for the barrier pass of €45

One-time costs

– Booking fee online (€10) or at the counter (€17.50)
– Final cleaning €175 (in case of a pet: €225)
– Tourist tax of €1.02 p.p.p.n with a maximum of €108.12 per 6 months. If you live in the municipality of De Bilt, this will be waived.

Monthly cost

– Chalet rental
– €250 advance energy per month (Your actual consumption will be calculated based on meter readings.)
– €35 internet per month

Rent supplement July and August
– In the months of July and August we charge a rent supplement of €200 per month due to the high season. This surcharge is in addition to the monthly rent.

I placed a booking online, is it final now?

Yes, this one is final. We will automatically send a reservation confirmation by email. Didn’t receive anything after 24 hours? Please check your spam box or feel free to contact us at info@bosparkbilthoven.nl.

How can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your booking by calling +31 30 2286777 or emailing info@bosparkbilthoven.nl. During your booking you can insure yourself with our cancellation fund. We charge 4,50% times the basic rental price (excluding €3,50 administration costs). Our cancellation policy applies to all reservations. You can view them here.

When and how should I pay for my stay?

If you are staying on a camping pitch, you must pay the full amount at once. Before you check in, all outstanding payments must be made. If you are staying in one of our chalets you will have to make a deposit first and you can pay the rest of the payment later. On the booking confirmation you will find details about your specific deposit period and payment method. The first month’s rent should always be paid before arrival. It is important to note that we do not accept cash at reception.

Arrival and departure
What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in

Check-in for your camping pitch is possible on the day of arrival between 13:00 and 17:00. Check-in for your rental accommodation is possible on the day of arrival between 15:00 and 17:00. Check-in at a time other than that specified above can only be done in consultation with reception.

Check out

Check-out of your camping pitch is on the day of before 11:00 am. Check-out of your rental accommodation is on the day of departure before 10:30 am. If you wish to leave before 9 a.m. on the day of your departure (and before 10 a.m. on Sundays), please inform the reception desk.

Can I park my car at the park?

At our rental chalets and seasonal pitches there is parking for one car. At the camping pitches, it is not possible to park at your pitch. Free parking is available at the main entrance and at the park.

Are there charging stations for electric cars?

Yes, charging stations for electric cars are available at the park. We have two charging stations available.

My stay

May I bring my pet with me?

Pets are allowed on the camping pitches, seasonal pitches and in almost all rental chalets. Pets are not allowed in the Luxe Chalet, Chalet Taos, Chalet Ohara, Klapkot, IRM, the Dune Wagon and the Coco Sweet. You may bring one pet per accommodation. Multiple pets are only possible after consultation. There is a surcharge of €1.50 per day for the camping pitch. For the rental accommodations there is a surcharge of € 50 per month, an additional € 500 deposit and € 225 cleaning fee (the cleaning fee of € 175 is waived, you only pay this cleaning fee). We do not have dog toilets or the like. We therefore kindly but urgently request you to let your pet out outside the entrance gate. If you walk with your pet on the park, your pet must be leashed.

Are friends and family allowed to visit?

Your visitors are welcome at your accommodation. They may park their car in the general parking lot at the main entrance, in front of the barriers. Unfortunately, your visitors may not use the swimming pool. If your visitors wish to stay overnight, you may do so provided that you do not exceed the maximum number of people allowed in the accommodation. Please notify the reception in time. We charge a surcharge of €3.50 per person per night.

Are towels, bed linen and linens included in the rental?

If you have booked it, a sheet set will be waiting for you in the rental accommodation upon your arrival. You can always book a sheet package at the reception. Unfortunately, we do not have towels available.

May I smoke in the rental property?

No, you may not smoke in the rental accommodation or other indoor areas in our park.

Is there free WIFI on the park grounds?

On the pitches, WIFI is free. The WIFI is public and you can use it without a code. The rental accommodations have their own internet modem. The surcharge for internet in the rental accommodations is €35 per month.

Is there a laundromat at the park?

Yes, there is a laundry facility. At the front desk, you can recharge laundry and shower credits on your barrier pass or on a separate shower pass. Recharging passes can also be done at the charging station next to the laundromat. Recharging next to the laundromat can be done with coins and by pin.

Can I rent a chalet for a long period of time?

Yes, you can rent a chalet for a longer period of time. The maximum rental period is 9 months. It is not possible to register at our park address or rent for migrant workers.

What is the minimum rental period for a chalet?

The standard minimum rental period is one month. Should you wish to rent for a shorter period, please contact us.

Are internet and cleaning fees mandatory with the rental?

Yes, these fees are mandatory. The cost is €35 per month for internet and €175 for final cleaning (€225 in case you bring a pet).

Is there a shed at the rental properties?

No, there is no shed at the chalets.

Can I place a tent near my chalet?

No, you are not allowed to place a tent or anything at the chalet.

Do you have bicycle parking?

Yes, there is a locked (uncovered) bicycle shed at the park. On payment of a deposit of €25, you will receive a key to the bicycle shed.

Can I sublet an accommodation?
No, it is not possible to sublet an accommodation.

Can I make reservations with a group?

Yes, this is possible by arrangement. If you wish to reserve with a group, we would like to ask you to contact us. This can be done from Monday to Saturday from 9:00-17:00 and on Sunday from 10:00-17:00 by calling (030) 22 86 777, or by emailing info@bosparkbilthoven.nl.

Are the accommodations suitable for wheelchair-dependent guests?
The rental properties are standard recreational homes and not easily accessible to wheelchair users.

Is it possible to barbecue at the park?

Barbecuing is allowed only on gas or electricity. For fire prevention and safety reasons, coal, open flames and the like are prohibited.

Is there a camping store at the park?

No, there is no camping store at the park. However, there are stores in the immediate vicinity of the park; the center of Bilthoven is about a 5-minute bike ride away.

Is the pool accessible to visitors and people from outside the park?

No, we are not a public pool and have limited capacity. Therefore, the pool is for park guests only.
